Shipping Policy

Order Processing Times
Please allow 1–3 business days to process and dispatch your order after it has been placed. An order is considered shipped once it has been handed over to our shipping carrier and is on its way to your chosen address. During peak periods and around public holidays, processing may take up to 7 business days. We recommend ordering well in advance for popular gifting occasions such as Christmas or Easter to ensure your books arrive on time.

Estimated Delivery Times
At Velora Nordic, we ship our books directly from the production facility to you — with no additional intermediate warehouses. This means shorter transport routes, fewer unnecessary CO₂ emissions, and books that arrive fresh and in perfect condition.

The estimated delivery time refers to the total transit time after your order has been handed over to the carrier. Please refer to the following guidelines based on your location:

Italy: 6–10 business days

As our books supporting children's development are currently in high demand and produced in limited print runs, delivery times may occasionally be slightly longer. We continuously work to process and dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. Should your delivery be delayed, we will of course notify you.

Please also note that during peak periods, shipping carriers may experience delays in transit times and tracking updates that are beyond our control. For international shipments, unexpected customs delays may also extend the overall delivery time beyond the estimates above.

Order Changes and Shipping Details
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that shipping details are correct and complete at the time of checkout. Incomplete or incorrect information may result in delayed processing or order cancellation. If our customer service team identifies an address issue, we will contact you by email within 3 business days to confirm your shipping details. If we do not receive a response within this timeframe, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

If you notice an error in your shipping information, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at murphy@velora-norden.store. We will do our best to make the necessary changes — however, after this period we cannot guarantee corrections, as the order may already be in processing.

Delayed Delivery
At Velora Nordic, it is important to us that your order arrives on time and in perfect condition. We dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. Please note, however, that in individual cases delays may occur due to external circumstances beyond our control.

These include unexpected delays with our courier partners — such as adverse weather conditions, transport disruptions, or high parcel volumes. In such cases, we work closely with the relevant carrier to ensure your parcel is delivered as quickly as possible. Additionally, increased demand for our books — particularly around holidays and special occasions — may lead to temporary delays. We always strive to proactively inform you if your order is affected.

Please note that Velora Nordic is not liable for delivery delays caused by external factors. While we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date, we are always available to keep you informed about the status of your order and to help resolve any issues.

Item Not Received
If your order has been marked as delivered according to the tracking status but you have not received your parcel, we recommend first contacting the shipping carrier directly to clarify the whereabouts of your package. Once an item is in the carrier's possession, we no longer have direct influence over the transport process.

Should the issue persist or no satisfactory solution be found, please contact us at murphy@velora-norden.store. We take every concern seriously and will promptly work to find a solution for you.

Please note that in rare cases, technical issues with the carrier may result in missing or delayed tracking updates. If you have not received your parcel despite a lack of tracking information, do not hesitate to contact us — we will help you as quickly as possible.
